Our Story
What began as a community for businesswomen became a movement helping Christian women navigate spiritual challenges, discover their calling, and step boldly into God's purpose.

THE BEGINNING
In 2019, we began serving women through the VIP Center for Businesswomen, a community created to help entrepreneurial women connect, grow in business, and develop their leadership through biblical principles.

As women gathered, we began to see that many were looking for more than professional growth. They were seeking authentic connection, spiritual encouragement, and a deeper understanding of God's purpose for their lives.

GOD HAD A DIFFERENT PLAN

What we thought was a business community was becoming something much bigger.

God was building a movement.

As more women joined our community, a clear pattern began to emerge. While many initially came seeking business growth, they stayed because they found something they couldn't find elsewhere—a safe place to grow in faith, navigate life's challenges, and be encouraged by women walking through similar seasons.

Women from every walk of life began showing up.

Entrepreneurs. Corporate professionals. Stay-at-home moms. Widows. Ministry leaders. Women in transition. Women searching for purpose. Women longing for authentic Christian community.

What began as a business-focused organization was gradually becoming a place where women could grow spiritually, find encouragement, and discover God's calling for their lives.

THE BIRTH OF PURPLE LIFE

As the needs of the women in our community became clearer, God began revealing a new direction.

The Purple Life Guidebook was published to help Christian women discover their calling, navigate spiritual warfare, and walk confidently through the challenges that often accompany obedience to God's purpose.

The message resonated deeply.

Women were hungry for biblical truth, spiritual encouragement, and practical guidance for navigating real life while pursuing God's calling.
In response, we launched The Purple Life Conference—a gathering designed to create a safe place where women could grow in faith, learn together, and deepen their walk with Jesus Christ.

What happened next surprised us.

Women from every walk of life began showing up–entrepreneurs. corporate professionals, stay-at-home moms, widows, ministry leaders, and women searching for purpose and authentic Christian community.

As women gathered, prayed, learned, and encouraged one another, many began recognizing the gentle nudging of the Holy Spirit calling them into a deeper relationship with Christ and a greater understanding of their Kingdom purpose.

The Purple Life was becoming more than a conference, a book, or a community.

It was becoming a spiritual movement.

WHY LYDIA?
As God was shaping the future of Purple Life, He repeatedly drew our attention to a woman named Lydia in Acts 16.

Lydia was a successful businesswoman whose heart was opened by the Lord. Despite the cultural limitations of her time, she courageously stepped into God's calling and used her influence to support what is believed to be the first Christian house church in Europe.

At first, we were inspired by Lydia's example as a woman in business. But as Purple Life continued to grow, God showed us something deeper.

Lydia was not remembered for her success. She was remembered for her obedience and Kingdom impact.

God revealed that Purple Life was never meant to be solely about helping women succeed professionally. It was meant to become a place of refuge, spiritual growth, discipleship, and purpose.

Today, Lydia remains a key inspiration behind our ministry and a reminder that when God opens a woman's heart, He often opens doors for influence, leadership, and spiritual impact.

A COMMUNITY BEGINS TO GROW

50 Women

700 Women
Recent Prayer Challenge
As women continued gathering through Purple Life, God began expanding the community in ways we never anticipated.

What started as a small group of women seeking encouragement, prayer, and spiritual growth quickly grew into a thriving community united by faith and purpose.

One of the clearest examples came through our annual 40-Day Prayer Challenge. What began with approximately 50 women gathering in prayer grew to more than 700 women participating in recent years.

As the community expanded, so did the opportunities for women to connect and grow together. Bible studies, intercessory prayer gatherings, leadership development, retreats, and membership experiences created spaces where women could strengthen their faith, navigate life's challenges, and encourage one another in their walk with Christ.

What started as a local movement soon reached beyond state lines, connecting women across the United States and eventually extending to the United Kingdom and New Zealand.

Through every season of growth, one thing remained constant: women were hungry for authentic Christian community, biblical truth, and encouragement to walk boldly in God's calling.

HOW GOD EXPANDED THE VISION
We began reaching women across the US an expanded to the United Kingdom and New Zealand through our podcast, conferences, prayer initiatives, and digital discipleship.

WHAT IS PURPLE LIFE TODAY?
Today, Purple Life is a growing community of Christian women united by prayer, discipleship, authentic sisterhood, and Kingdom purpose.

We believe many women are navigating spiritual battles, difficult seasons, and challenges that can keep them operating beneath the calling God has placed on their lives. Through biblical teaching, intercessory prayer, mentorship, and Christ-centered community, we help women strengthen their faith, gain spiritual confidence, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.
This community has become a movement of women from every season of life who are committed to growing in Christ, encouraging one another, and living out their faith with courage and conviction.

LOOKING AHEAD
As Purple Life continues to grow through conferences, retreats, prayer initiatives, discipleship opportunities, and future chapters, our commitment remains the same:

To equip women to navigate spiritual warfare, deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, and step fully into the calling God has prepared for their lives.

We believe God is still calling women today—and we believe He is just getting started.
